WV NEWS

This page contains essential information and links for broadcasting students. If anyone has additional broadcast realated links please send them to wmlt@cat.concord.edu and I will add them to the site.

All workshop students should login to the online scripting program, thinkfree.com, and learn how to add scripts etc. This is where scripts will be submitted for each newscast. Scripts and rundowns can be created in Microsoft Office and uploaded or you can create them directly on the website.

It is essential all scripts and show rundowns are submitted in a timely fashion prior to broadcast. Each reporter is responsible for his or her own script. All CG titles and Locators should be spelled correctly and included with your script. The producer may also assign additional VO's and VO/SOT's to be written as needed. Using this system, students may login anywhere at anytime and work on the newscast. Please take advantage of this program!
